1284851	2012-07-01 01:21:00	Hi team, Could anyone advise me please, I use Outlook Express and have been getting auto response in my email account, some addressed as if sent by me. It seems as though the auto response below has been attached to my email A/C, how can I remove it? In options / receipts/ (request a read receipt on all emails) is unchecked and (never send a receipt is checked). Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. Pibs. Pibs Sorry, I'll clarify. Speedy Gonzales is a very senior member who is really good at providing help in situations in this. If you post the hijack this log here, speedy will have a look through and have a look for malware. He's been on hols and offline, hence the 'now speedy is back'	Nick G (16709)

1284859	2012-07-03 07:58:00	Outlook Express does not have an auto response feature like Outlook has. Check the rules list, something may have gotten into that and creating a "fake" auto reply - outlook Express cant send out something its not capable of doing.(auto reply) But it can send a reply Via the rules. ( two different things) The location is Tools/Message Rules/Mail From another site, if you turn on auto reply in Rules: Some things that you must consider: Using autoreply will cause your email to reply to spam, as well as legitimate messages. This will confirm your email address as a "good" one to the spammers. It could also let the wrong people know that you are away and your house is empty. If autoreply does reply to a spam with a spoofed address, your auto reply will automatically be returned to you. Then your auto reply will reply to the return and on and on Or as its been mentioned you may have some sort of infection. A hijack log is not hard to read, several here know how to do it.	wainuitech (129)
