| 1284075 | 2012-06-26 23:45:00 | Looking at this pc that won't boot - removed the ram to try and get some POST beeps, but no go. Doesn't even get to POST stage. I take a look at the board and there's this odd mark (see attached pic). It kind of looks like goo in the pic, but looks more like a scrape in normal light. Could this be the culprit? I've reseated the CPU and RAM, unplugged the drives, etc. It's about 16 months old - ASUS M2N68-AM Plus. 39443945 |

| 1284081 | 2012-06-27 02:08:00 | Yeah, I'm having my doubts about this PC. Confirmed it was purchased around Nov 2010 "new" and had very little use (really clean inside). I ran HD Sentinel, and that reports the drive has had 540+ days power on time. If used 24/7 since then it would be around 600-odd days, but they don't leave it on 24/7 and don't even use it some days. Maybe used for an hour or 2 every couple of days. So with the whopping 1GB of RAM, along with a most likely pre-used HD, I suspect they got had. | Renegade (16270) | ||

| 1284083 | 2012-06-27 05:51:00 | Looks like mouse urine, did it have a card slot open or a side off the case for a while? Had to fix one a few years ago with that problem, ate the traces and a couple of smd chips away. |
