| 1261649 | 2012-02-26 22:54:00 | Convicted double murderer David Tamihere has asked to go on trial again for the murder of two Swedish backpackers after having served 20 years in prison. www.nzherald.co.nz Yeah RIGHT!!!!! If Tamihere is to get his wish and be tried again, will ALL the Police evidence previously thrown out by the Judge, be allowed to be presented again? Sorry mate - you are as guilty as sin and you know it. Stop trying to waste the taxpayers $$$$$$ |

| 1261651 | 2012-02-27 06:45:00 | Yes I was listening to Leighton Smith this morning and he doesn't know whether he did it or not. The detective Walsh who was in charge of the case was known for fabricating things to get a guilty verdict. While I was listining to Leighton a person rang up whom I'm sure was either Prefect or Zippity who said he did it because he had a previous conviction for killing a woman with a rifle butt over the head. Tamahare actually pleaded guilty. There was also the instance that the police claimed Tamahare took Hoglins watch off of him and gave it to his son which was rubbish because he was still wearing it when they found his remains. :) |

| 1261653 | 2012-02-27 23:51:00 | If he did it, I dont think he would be stupid enough to be seen driving around in their car afterwards Some of the evidence given, by other crims (still in jail) turned out to be rubbish But he was a bad b8gger with a bit of nasty history . If he was squeaky clean he wouldnt have been accused. but who knows. Maybe if he didnt steal their car they would be still alive ?? |

| 1261656 | 2012-02-28 02:05:00 | A little while back this forum was backing someone being innocent when all the evidence was against him (and virtually none against his father). Now we have a true scumbag assumed to be guilty because of his past and imho very little evidence against him. Also, like Ellis in CHCH, Tamihere would not admit guilt in order to be let out on parole. |
