1261157 2012-02-24 07:01:00 8.00pm and Im still at work, Only been here since 6.30 am, well, seeing as I have to sleep on site Ive been here for two weeks.

Thats alright though, In another hour I can walk from my office to my bed, then I get some time off, well, apart from the fact that I'm on call 24 hours a day.

Not that it matters when the shift is 15 hours.

Luckily I have coffee.

And a wife and children to spend my wages...

.....I hope they save some for me.

1261161 2012-02-24 18:58:00 what are you doing?Yeah I was wondering the same thing.

I love it when the company gives you a cellphone you can use afterhours :D
Unfortunately; it means they can use it too to call you in (doen't happen very often). Oh well... its a good paying job and I no complain

1261162 2012-02-24 19:28:00 What do I do?

Endless meetings and screeds of paper work, Intersected with times of extreme excitment followed by very heavy scrutiny and explanations to offsite big cheeses that never seem to be satisfactory, followed by more meetings, extreme pressure and long long hours. (Have had four meetings this morning and its only 8.30am, Two of the meetings I had to write up the agenda for and run, the third I just sat in on, the 4th was a telephone conferance with some heavy hitters)

I also get to live in a shipping container, something which wasn't good enough for our prisinors, also, my office is a section of a shipping container, as is the bathroom and the canteen.

On the plus side I'm having an excellent time of it, I have managed to rise to the occasion while those around me have failed, feedback is positive, and I get a full salary for working 6 months of the year.
