They are both consenting and they aren't hurting anyone else. What's the problem in that? Even if it was abnormal it's not as if it's doing any harm to me or anyone else, so I don't care. I think the point of that quote (if correct) is to say that if so many different species do it, then maybe it's not as abnormal as some people might think. I agree, but do we want the institution of marriage sullied by seeing a couple of chaps kissing on their wedding day, in the paper, certainly not I. In other words the more we appear to approve, the more they will expose us to their antics. |
