2012-02-26 05:52:00 | Agree mostly error guy, the petone turn off is one that bugs me, I get in the left hand lane in plenty of time to turn off. Then you get some ****** come screaming up in the right hand lane expecting you to break so he can shoot the gap to the turn off, fortunately for me I can spot this ****** a mile away and adjust my speed accordingly so either he has to pull I behind or misses the exit all together. Saw that a few weeks back some clown going like the clappers in the right hand lane, every one else was doing just under 100 as it was wet, and as hadn't been for a while, the over bridge was slippery It was poetic justice really, he shot across the lanes, cutting every one off and screamed up the over-bridge, lost it going around the corner, and smash bang crash, a complete 180 spin taking out the back and front of the car on the concrete side of the bridge, then sliding to a halt facing the wrong way. It was a good one :clap stunt drivers would have been impressed. Car didn't look to flash after that though ;)

2012-02-26 05:55:00 | I do the same on the Southern motorway northbound on the Waitakere exit If I see some clown racing up on the right side I will boot it to keep up with him then start slowing down if he slows down so he cant take the exit. Teaches them a lesson that cutting people off with a high speed lane change is not kosher. People driving like that have earned the right to be surrounded by others driving like that.

But I will still overtake some at 100KM sometime because their speed varies, I hate following cars that speed up to 100 and drops to 90 and 100 and 95 and ... very annoying... |

2012-02-26 11:03:00 | Keeping in the left lane is only possible on the open 2 lane motorway. On multi lane motorways like the approach to the Harbour Bridge you have to choose the correct lane and stick to it otherwise you end up where you don't want to be. | mzee (3324) | |
2012-02-26 19:46:00 | I nearly got taken out (off??) the road heading north up Ngauranga Gorge on Saturday morning by an idiot driving "BLYSTK" He crossed from the right hand lane to the left hand Johnsonville off lane (3 lanes) at about 100kph. Screw the Bastard I say!!!!!

2012-02-26 21:37:00 | Your theory goes out the window when motorways become involved. You really want to try and move across 5 lanes of traffic to go from the left lane to the right lane so that you can continue southbound past the CBD? Now *that* is dangerous. | inphinity (7274) | |
