1262223 2012-03-01 03:41:00 Server or player?

I need to get some free time so I can look at XBMC and linking it with the MediaPortal TV Server backend then I'll be able to use a Raspberry Pi as my main media PC.
Then I can get rid of the Asus Eee Box :D

Good point, probably player, linked to a NAS for storage over gigabit
My old argosy media player is sooooo buggy (elcheapo from firstin)

Pretty expensive compared to the Pi.

1262226 2012-03-01 10:53:00 I think I'll stick with Arduinos. R2x1 (4628)
1262227 2012-03-02 00:58:00 The thing is, if a bunch of techies from the UK can design and churn out such a sweet device for a low cost what the hell are all the other companies doing? I mean with all their buying power, factories and apples foxconn slave labour you could make one for much less! It's estimated that the 6th gen nano is about $45 in the making yet this thing packs much more in there.

What the world is coming to, i'll never know!

The free co.cc domain (really a clever subdomain) is well used among the evil forces...
