| 1261575 | 2012-02-26 06:57:00 | It has replaced my laptop (Macbook) as an alternative to desktop pc, which I use as a main computer for keeping photos and large docs on. I have given my Macbook to my niece's 15 year old son to use for schoolwork etc. They cannot afford much these days. I love my tablet and can do everything on it that l could do on laptop. I read Amazon books on it too! LL |

| 1261577 | 2012-02-26 09:07:00 | It has replaced my laptop yeah. I do have two other computers (desktops), one with Vista and one with XP). Got a wireless network so can all connect up. I take the tablet to bed and can read my book I got from Amazon. So much smaller and lighter to carry around too. I can do all my emailing and surfing on it and can print from it through Google Docs using Google Cloud Print. LL |

| 1261578 | 2012-02-26 10:02:00 | I do *everything* from it, with the exception of the hardcore web-dev (Coding PHP vs just writing / admin stuff in Wordpress), coz I do that via SSH and I've not yet found a good SSH client. Other than that the only thing I can't do on my Tablet is DotA2 or Star Wars - The Old Republic. Other than that, I'd much prefer to use my original Transformer!! In fact I sold my laptop after about 4 weeks of owning the Transformer, I honestly had only used it once for its LAN port coz I couldn't be bothered reconfiguring my desktop to fix up a router... But yeah, *just* the Transformer :D It's great!! |
