In fact I am surprised there is not more on the black-market now as the stuff almost grows like a weed. I had one plant last year and have had seedlings pop up all over the place this year. They haven't manged to stop people smoking marijuana yet. Big tobacco growing expert are you? |

I dont know quite what goes on here, but in an area I frequent in Queensland there are old redundant tobacco farms and kilns to be found everywhere. I always assumed they had gone out of business through lack of demand. However, whilst there last month I notice a number of them have been replanted. I wonder if there is a resurgence in the demand for tobacco? |

Some countries that grow baccy just fine dont have stupid ACC levies, high wages, RUC on trucks that deliver stuff, 1 months hols per year, GST, OSH. |

Aussie Smoking Laws are pretty much the same as ours but someone must have found a market for the stuff somewhere because they've planted 1000's of acres of it. I'll be back over there in a month or so, so I'll make a point of finding out. :) |

However processing it into something smokable and selling it is a different story. Pretty easy to spot the blackmarket baccy seller. Unlike electric puha the government will not stand idly by as they lose the baccy tax money to some crooks, they will probaly turn out the National guard. Just make blackmarketing of tobacco the same as the German penalty for black marketing in WW2. |

| 1261432 | 2012-03-01 06:28:00 | I already feel healthier, just need to do something about my weight and total lack of fitness. Still all good? I'm trying to get my fitness back on track, Done a couple of sessions with the weights earlier in the week, 12k's on the bike last night, signed up for the gym this morning, done a 2.4 mile run on the running machine, then a session on the weights. then another mile on the running machine. Then I ate like a mad dog all afternoon as I tried to recover. |
