1284400 2012-06-28 07:41:00 I was wondering if it's possible to run 3 (or just 2) monitors off one laptop? The setup I was wanting was running two 23" screens off one laptop and most probably not using the original laptop screen. Is this at all possible? I thought since it has a VGA and HDMI slot, it should work as long as it doesn't stress the graphics card too much right?

Thanks

1284403 2012-06-28 13:26:00 Why?

Just get a desktop and a graphics card with Eyefinity or such which is actually designed for this kind of thing...

1284404 2012-06-28 22:27:00 Ive been down this track with PC's, dont get caught out, read the fine print.

Some 3,4 monitor adaptors actually NEED to use "display port" natively to get the 3rd & 4th monitor.

Lenovo x200 will, but HP Probooks will not!

You can use something like a Toshiba Dynadock us.toshiba.com to add on another screen.
