When my PC is incorrectly shutdown (I have Win 98 SE), Scandisk no longer runs to check for disk errors which means it must be disabled somehow (I'm not sure why). Can anyone assist as to why this is the case. |

Do you have tweakui installed? If so in the boot section autorun scandisk may be set to never. |

There is an option in 98 to turn it off, could be the same in SE.
Start/run/type 'msconfig'/advanced/'enable scandisk after bad shut down' |

Yes I have TwekUI installed. Scandisk option is set correctly. (How do I remove TweakUI completely from my system?) |
