Alternatively, try holding down the shift key when you insert the CD, so it doesn't autorun. If you explore it, it may just work. Worked for me with the dodgey June one. Anyway, you think you have problems. I just bought Star Wars Galactic Battleground and the 2nd disc doesn't go. Spent ten minutes on the phone trying to make it clear that I do know what I am doing. Somehow the shop assistant didn't believe me. (I did point out I couldn't read it on three different CD Rom drives in two different PCs, they still thought I was doing it wrong). What a pain. Robo |

Phew, I thought I was the only one who needed to be told by a paradise.net rep: 'ok, just shut down your PC, click on the start button, go to shut down, put the dot next to 'shut down' and click the 'ok' button'!! ARRGGHHH!! He didn't fix my problem, but I did shut him up by suggesting that perhaps I needed to delete the registry keys...lol In the end it was another classic windows re-install.... |
