| 27121 | 2001-12-10 02:25:00 | The batteries in this application should give shelf life if they are the modern (lithium) ones. The memory and clock use only microamps. Is this an older computer and are you using NiCds instead of the expensive lithium 4.5 volt ones (the type with a velcro attachment and a flying lead connection)? If so, the batts are not being charged, and a better cheap fix is to use alkaline AAs. |
