At this time u would need to have the windows cd ready. then put diskette into drive and restart comp. it will detect cd-rom do just switch to cd-rom drive generally e: or f: (it will tell u). then type that then [enter] and type setup [enter]. Finish windows and its done and finish install ur other softwares. U would prob need to download other drivers from respec. websites such as modem, and other devices. |

| 27007 | 2001-12-08 11:15:00 | to make a startup disk -- goto start - then settings then control panel - then add/remove softwares and click 'startup disk'. Just before u run the cd. Type fdisk from the a: and delete the partitions using the program. You can restart and type format c: after booting with that disk. Then restart again and type setup. |

| 27009 | 2001-12-08 12:19:00 | If u r installing win95, then the easiest way is to create a win98 bootdisk so u can use it to boot ur cd rom drive, or install the cd rom driver (dat comes with ur pc) into ur hard disk 1st. (couple of ppl already taught u how to create 1) If u r installing win98 or later, just put the in windows cd (the cd will load ur cd drive automatically but in dos only.) there u can just type setup to install. | Guest (0) | ||
