| 26955 | 2001-12-08 20:07:00 | First - disable any virus program you have on 'puter - this is the biggest single problem with defraging!! - then run scandisk to clean up any errors - then defraging should be fine - but do it in safe mode - so no drivers loaded at startup interfere with the process - to get to safe mode - reboot and hit F8 continually till you get the option menu -Simon |
