27473 2001-12-12 21:46:00 I use ICS on my modest LAN (W98 SE platform). ZoneAlarm firewall and Norton AntiVirus are installed and operating on the host PC. Do I need to have ZoneAlarm on the client PC as well, or is ZA on the host PC sufficient protection for the LAN ?
Any advice appreciated.

27474 2001-12-12 22:50:00 the fiewall on the host dosn't do a lot for the cleint pc so put zonealarm on the cleint pc as well, even if its the free version. Guest (0)

27476 2001-12-13 03:36:00 The basic Zone Alarm personal (freebie) package doesn't offer any extra protection, but you can buy the Pro package which has built-in ICS features. Guest (0)
