| 27340 | 2001-12-11 10:22:00 | If I try to uninstall LiveReg using Control Panel/Add Remove, I keep getting message that programme is required for Anti-virus, but I can't find Anti-virus using either Windows Explorer or Find. Help! All other Norton files/folders are deleted. | Guest (0) | ||

Here is the URL for their Knowledge Base, with an easy to follow click-through method of finding your product and the steps required: Cheers!!! e_ www.symantec.com |

Using RegCleaner, you can remove the offending program from the registry, then do a registry sweep. It then pays to run EasyCleaner to make sure. Hopefully this should fix it. HIH |

| 27343 | 2001-12-13 19:37:00 | From my experience of unistalling Norton Anti-Virus first the trial versin and then from Systemworks (I had to unistall Systemworks due to d/loading another programme that conflicted with Systemworks) I would recommend you go Symantec website and download appropriate tool. I have used SymClean with success but due to variety of systems better check out the solution that suits your need. Go to www.symantec.com and click on service and support. Good Luck |
