| 27446 | 2001-12-12 09:37:00 | My son has changed the settings in dervice manager/video drivers or something along those lines and now computer start up goes to the ME flash screen and then a black screen with a flashing underscore and no more graphics appear. HOw do I get into ME to do a system restore? Is this possible or do I need to do something else.TIA Lyn | Guest (0) | ||

| 27448 | 2001-12-12 10:41:00 | Hi Lyn I would perhaps try going into 'safe mode' This is done by pressing F8 as soon as your machine displays 'starting Windows Millenuim' When you switch it on....A list of 1/2doz options will appear and select 'safe mode'. This will start your machine with default drivers and allow you to get to the desktop where you can make to neccessay changes......I also think the restore feature is available from there to.
