| 27347 | 2001-12-11 10:14:00 | I've got a Ricoh 7163A writer and am using Nero with XP. About 80% of the copies I do, Nero gives me a 'medium speed error' message and the write (or copy) fails. I can't even find in the Nero documentation what that message means! I have tried using the slowest possible burn speed (4x) but it still doesn't work. But the times it *does* work, it is still on the same settings! So far I've only used Datalife Verbatim CDR's that are rated up to 16x compatible. Do you think this may be a problem with the brand of CDR? Or a Nero setting I've got wrong somewhere, or the CD writer just being tempramental? I'm getting a little sick of my growing pile of coasters :) |
