27620	2001-12-15 10:35:00	Is anybody else finding it real hard to connect to these ISP's (and any ISP). It takes ages to connect and when it does connect it's at 19,200bps or less. Using 56K winmodem. Also sometimes before it has even dialed the number I hear a 'SSSSSSSHHHHHHHHH' type noise. Is it just the net being busy over the holidays and the ISP's are oversubscribed. Or could it be the phone lines or modem. Help much appreciated JM	Guest (0)
27621	2001-12-16 04:18:00	I've had no problems with ZFree other than the odd disconnect (and that's only happened about 3 times in the past week... worse than normal, but expected during holidays) And I connect around the 50k mark every time.	Guest (0)
27622	2001-12-16 07:28:00	In my experience with zfree and actrix. I found i got an equal or better connection with zfree each and every time which doestn say much for actrix. As for ur low connection speed it may simply be ur physical location. Depending on where u dial from u get different response. Suggest u ring telecom and ask them to check ur phoneline for noise, im sure its still free of charge.	Guest (0)
