| 27743 | 2001-12-16 23:07:00 | Have been looking at some upgrade boxes and like the specs, p4, 400mhz fsb. They come with a winsonic motherboard, anyone have any knowledge of these boards and whether they are any good? |

If I had a choice I would prolly go with an asus board although it would be a little more pricey. And do you think the pc133 ram would cause a bottleneck in the system? It also comes with a radeon ddr ram vid card. |

I`ll tried to do all of them but no result. Model Winsonic WSP4M800-M It is new PC without any OS Firstly I think It is problem with HDD & 3-4th time create 2 logical & format them. |

Firstly I think It is problem with HDD & 3-4th time create 2 logical & format them. Let it crash again and this time write down the EXACT message it gives. It will have something like: STOP: 0x00000xx and then some text. We need to know exactly what its message is. You need a minimum size partition to install XP - you can get it on 3Gb but I wouldn't make a partition for C: less than 10Gb. It is also best to do the partition creation and format from the XP install. When you boot from the CD, it finds the HDD and then gives you a choice of installing on the existing partitions or deleting and creating new ones, at which point it will require you to format them as well. |
