| 28017 | 2001-12-19 05:34:00 | I am unable to edit the contents of my favourites folder in IE5.5. When click on the 'Favourite' button, no favourites are shown. If I attempt to organise my favourites the window opens but no favourites are shown. I get an error message 'Error 338' Unspecified error, if i attempt to organize favourites. Its as though there are no favourites but I know that there are. Also can the 'Favourites' folder be edited in any other programme? Col. |

You'll be able to organise them (move, copy, delete etc) just as you would using 'organise favourites'. Also, sounds like something might be a bit screwy with your error message popping up each time. I'd be inclined to go to www.microsoft.com and reinstall the Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 Service Pack 2 and Internet Tools. |
