In order to regain web access, you must clear the AdSubtract proxy setting from your browser.

In IE 5.x, select the Tools menu, choose Internet Options. Next select the Connections tab in the dialog box that appears. Select the name of your dial-up connection, press the Settings button. In the dialog box that appears, uncheck the box next to use a proxy server. Press the Advanced button. On the HTTP line, delete the proxy server address AdSubtract (or 127.0.0.1) and the port number 4444. Click OK.

In Netscape, go to edit, preference, advanced, proxies and select direct connection to the internet.
