| 27891 | 2001-12-18 02:33:00 | I am interested in locating a review of accounting software packages that was published around August or September 2001. Looking specifically for a comparison on small to medium-sized business accounting packages. | Guest (0) | ||

It's not a fun thing, lot of hard work and the vendors give us lists of where we got it wrong that are five pages long (and most of it turns out we weren't). The other thing is there are heaps of products, and those that don't get included also suffer. Do you have any specific questions that I might be able to help with? Robo. |

Hasn't really been independent review I think since NZ PC World Feb 1999 ('You're money' article looking at multi-user versions of NZA Gold, Pastel Partner, MYOB, Sage and NZ Pro.) The Financial & Accounting Software Guide New Zealand 2002 published by MIS (publishers of MIS magazine) is the most current overall publication on options available. But it is essentially vendor-sourced information. Does give you an idea of what features/modules are available though. |
