| 27911 | 2001-12-18 02:32:00 | my game card has slowed up since loaded new hardrive.have reloaded win98 and game card drivers but still slow when playing games.the games are stopping and starting.everything was working well before new hardrive was installed.something has changed but do not know where to find problem. thankyou richard |

| 27912 | 2001-12-18 18:59:00 | This could be caused by several things, start by having a look in device manager and making sure nothing has exclamation marks beside it. Right click my computer/properties/device manager. While you are there, click on 'performance' make sure that a dos driver is not loaded for your C drive. It will tell you if it is. Other wise it will say 'your computer is configured for optimal performance' If everything looks ok, exit and right click on your desktop/properties/settings/advanced/monitor. make sure your monitor is listed here, if not put the correct monitor in. While you are here click on 'adaptor' and check the refresh rate, optimal is good if you have the choice. Let us know what you find. |
