| 28369 | 2001-12-23 10:56:00 | The PSX uses a completly different chip (MIPS I think) while your PC probably uses an Intel x86 (or PowerPC if you have a mac). The game would need to be ported to the PSX processor, which would require the source code (owned by the company that made the game) and a lot of hacking by the company. Even if it was ported/emulated to the PSX, the PSX is slow compared to most recent computers and has a _very_ limited amount of memory (compare Quake 2 PC vs PSX). |
