28267 2001-12-21 10:04:00 Hi,

Yet another problem... How do I choose which programs load at startup under mandrake 8.0? When I log on as myself, it get a folder containing an rpm I installed a while ago, kppp starts, and on desktop two, a terminal window... Kppp is quite handy, but I would do anything to get rid of the other two...any ideas?

Thx

Erin

28268 2001-12-21 12:34:00 They are saved when you log out and the option to save settings is checked.

To fix it, close/open all the programs you want at logon.

Then goto logout and check save settings (or similar).

Then log back in, it should have saved everything for you.

To keep it the same, uncheck save settings next time you log out.
