| 28335 | 2001-12-22 13:18:00 | I am in dire straits. I have had a problem recently where I could access my ISP through the modem but no browser would be able to contact the server. I have tried a few things then decided to refresh windows. This was done by renaming win.com and winver.exe and reinstalling windows to the same folder. Tthat solved the internet access problem but now my display has gone west. I now have a monochrome display with colour settings reduced to 2 & 16 colours. There are no other options in the display settings dialogues. I cannot chage icon size either, once again no option. What have I done and how do I fix it. I am in need of some help desperately. The easiest way to remedy this is to find the latest drivers from the manufactorer of your graphics card and install these. | Guest (0) | ||
