| 28593 | 2001-12-26 05:41:00 | Hi, I'm just wondering if its possible to set up a virtual answer phone with my Windows 98se computer, and if really needed Winxp pro. I'm wishing to download something or use something in windows even if its third party software. I sort of want this, so that when I surf the net (which I do, and hog the line for ages) that when people ring, they'll hear my message and be able to leave a message so that I can reply to them when I get offline, which possibly will take ages! Can I just do everything on the PC or will I have to do something to my phone too? Many thanks in advance, |

Nice and simple. It's no more than $10 a month, so that may or may not help. Jonathan |

When you are surfing, all other calls will see an engaged line and your computer cannot take that call. Your current options are Jetstream/Jetstart, a second line or the Telecom answering service (which will cost you). Billy 8-{) (Tanned & relaxed after my holiday folks.) |
