| 28638 | 2001-12-26 02:06:00 | Sorry, if I keep posting questions on here. I don't know why but now I'm having alot of trouble running my computer. Well... here's my problem, I keep getting this blue screen when ever I start up window. The blue screen doesn't just pop up once when the computer starts up, sometimes it keeps poping up untill my whole screen freezes of goes black. I think this started happening after I repair my Window from the Window Start Up Disk. The first few days after repair Window, the computer ran really good, as it was like a brand new computer that I just brought but after a week the illegal operation dialog started to pop up when ever I go on the internet(IE). I throught it was normal for computers to act like that, so I ran scan disk, disk clean up and disk defragmenter...several times to fix it. The dialog stopped to pop up but after 2 days it started again then with the blue screen of death, and now the blue screen not just pops up when ever I'm on the net but ever time I start up window. My computer have 2 different language version of Window98Se(one Traditional Chinese and one English). The Chinese version use to have the blue screen of death every time I go on the net but now instead of the Chinese window having the blue screen of death now it's the English window. Nearly 95% of the time I use the English window version, so most my programs such as AV, Zone Alarm, MS work, MS word those kinda stuffs are in the English Window. I barely ever use the Traditional Chinese version but some how it's has the most problem on it(before and sometimes now). But now the English window is having most of the problem So I was wondering why does the blue screen keeps poping up when ever I start up window now and any suggestions to get rid of blue screen or fix it. I have Win98Se and 196mb of ram, can it be the 196mb causing this? Thanks ps: can hackers to these kinda of stuff to your computer? Thanks alot |
