I had a computer audio interface that I uninstalled. It has left keys in the registry that I want to delete. However I can't, they are owned by trustedinstaller and no matter if I log in as adminstrator or whatever else I do I can't set permissions on the keys so that I can delete them. I tried using psexec to start regedit but this didn't work either. How do you change permissions on keys owned by trustedinstaller? Any help hugely appreciated. |

Select the main key in the registry / select permissions / advanced / owner tab. Select you / tick replace owner down the bottom. Then OK. Then, you should be able to delete the key. Why do you want to delete the key/s?? Is it coming up with an error, when you try to install a file or something? |
