I dont recall ever saying I am a good driver, my wife uses the word atrocious when referring to my driving. However I try not to drive too pissed, dont break the speed limit and always stop at stop signs. I have got into a few road rage incidents when I say " How did you get your licence"? "Good driving skills ******"and have the pipe which fits on the wheel nut spanner very close to hand. As you do around Western Auckland. |

| 1262814 | 2012-03-04 04:08:00 | I think what happens there at triangle, lincoln and central park intersection is the lights are short phased to favor the lincoln road traffic through there. The people on triangle get pissed off waiting and run the amber and reds It could be easily fixed by allowing these roads to let more cars thru. They are. There's roadworks there now. I've always avoided it, if I need to get on the motorway that way to town I go via Te Atatu instead. Still, that's not the point, the article is about the new give way rules - this happens at intersections without traffic lights....they should be mentioning them, not traffic light areas.... |
