1286288 2012-07-05 20:44:00 Hi all

Copying a bunch of MP3's (6GB) from one drive to another (1TB with 193G free) and getting a not enough disk space error.

All drives NTFS - plenty of space on the drive - google brings up a lot of answers about file size with FAT drives, not relevant here.

Screenshot attached.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

1286290 2012-07-05 22:56:00 Try overwriting the hds free space with a disk cleanup tool. i think ccleaner has one. stratex5 (16685)

Could be that, or some weird permissions issue that's manifesting as a bogus out-of-space error

I ended up transferring to another drive - had tried all the tips suggested except #5 and #7 before chucking it onto another drive.

Thanks all - was the first time I had come across that!
