Have since found a temp file under System folder called rad4841D.tmp Viewing it shows first line as REGEDIT4 then about 12 different lines all defining that Start Page, Search page, SearchURL, Search Bar, CustomizeSearch, SearchAssistant, all repeated twice, = http:// 'pornosite'.com I don't know anything about registry but it would appear that prehaps the registry has been edited by some means to change the defaults in Internet Explorer each time at startup. If this is the case then how do we change it back and to what? A perplexed punter, Grant |
