| 28675 | 2001-12-26 22:03:00 | Hi there, I have a question, which may help me fix my computer: Can I mix PC100 and PC133 SD-RAM on a motherboard which is currently running with a DRAM clock at 100Mhz? Is it possible that was causing my problem? I have two 64mb PC100 chips, and one PC133 128mb chip. If I recall correctly, the PC133 chip should just 'throttle down' to the 100mhz speed - is that correct? Thanks alot, Jonathan Giles |

| 28677 | 2001-12-26 23:05:00 | Just formatted my Windows 98 SE partition, did a reinstall, and despite a few blue screens and random restarts, I'm currently sitting with a seemingly OK windows 98 partition (thankfully I keep all my data on a seperate partition). When I get back from holiday, I intend to use my (hopefully) still stable Windows 98 partition as a base to reinstall my Windows XP partitino. Things are starting to look up... Thanks to everyone, Jonathan Giles |
