| 29035 | 2001-12-29 09:34:00 | I have recently tried to add some extra RAM to my Dell Dimension PC. Every time I do this I get a STOP: 0x000050 error when Win2k tries to boot. I have tried two brands of RAM and neither work. I have tried the RAM in another PC and it seems to work. I have put the new RAM into the PC and run Dells suite of test software and it all checks out OK. Except for Win2k. The full text of the error is: *** STOP: 0x00000050 (0xFCD98B10,0x00000000, 0x804B0BE0, 0x00000000) PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA *** Address 804B0BE0 base at 80400000, Datestamp 3ad7ad60 - ntoskrnl.exe |
