29035 2001-12-29 09:34:00 I have recently tried to add some extra RAM to my Dell Dimension PC. Every time I do this I get a STOP: 0x000050 error when Win2k tries to boot.

I have tried two brands of RAM and neither work. I have tried the RAM in another PC and it seems to work. I have put the new RAM into the PC and run Dells suite of test software and it all checks out OK. Except for Win2k.

The full text of the error is:
*** STOP: 0x00000050 (0xFCD98B10,0x00000000, 0x804B0BE0, 0x00000000)

29036 2001-12-29 23:39:00 Are you running the latest (or for that matter any) of the service packs? Guest (0)
29037 2001-12-30 02:05:00 Brent,

I have just installed SP2 and so far it has made no difference.

Regards
Steve
