29000	2001-12-29 01:24:00	All my office files types suddenly are no longer recognised when looking thru the explorer. You can still open them thru the application, but if double clicking on the file in explorer it converts them to an .exe and they become unusable. A complete re-install of both win98 and office fixed the problem for a while, but then it re-occured.	Guest (0)
29001	2001-12-29 01:43:00	Do you run any antivirus software? Sounds like the type of activity that can happen if you have a virus on your machine. And it's maybe reocurring because the virus is being activated again somehow.	Guest (0)
29002	2002-01-01 00:12:00	This might work left click on one of the files once, then hold down shift and right click, the menu that comes up should now include the option <open with> left click on that and a window will come up with all your programs, find the apropriate office program and make sure you select the box that says <always use this program to open this file type> (I cant quite remeber the exact words).
