Second I run Norton which seems fine to me however I suggest searching through PC World's web site on reveiws for the two mentioned programs and decide for yourself. Another way that I decide is I buy current computer mags which from time to time compare antivirus programs.. Good luck and I hope you remain virus free.. |

| 28955 | 2001-12-29 08:05:00 | 1 simple golden rule for anti virus....if its not updated very regular then its no good. My anti virus (norton) updates by anywhere from 100 to 2000 virus definitions at a time... these are new viruses that have just been launched etc and I have spent many a frustrating hour guiding friends and family through virus removal cause they did not update or even have anti virus. Please read the reviews etc but whatever you do get anti virus first... norton have a trial version at their site www.symantec.com and then decide which one you will spend your hard earned dollars on after evaluating the different ones. I have norton and it has saved my puter on about 15 different occaisions including all the new ones that hit the headlines about 2 days after someone tried to infect me with them. | Guest (0) | ||
