29098 2001-12-30 01:31:00 Installed a Reader Rabbit 1st Grade package for my grand daughter. This included upgrades for QuickTime5 and DirectX8.0. Now I can't access any MSMoney200 files - respose is 'There is a problem with your Windows security settings. Money cannot open a data file or create a new file'. I use WidowsMe and Netscape for the internet. Tried resetting the IE scurity settings to default but did not help. System Restore doesn't work either as It says I haven't made any changes!!
Help!! I need access to the last 2 years records!!

29099 2001-12-30 01:40:00 Have you tried reinstalling money?

Copy you money data files to a different location first, just to be safe, if they aren't already backed up.

29100 2001-12-30 04:06:00 Yes. Uninstalled Money and reinstalled it in a different location. Still could not access old files nor create new ones. Guest (0)
29101 2002-01-02 22:48:00 Problem determined as a corrupt ME dll file. Reinstalled Windows Me and access to files has been restored. Guest (0)
