I've just upgraded an old P11 (200Mhz). I replaced a 32 Mb DIMM with 64 Mb. The system now shows 16Mb installed. I tried putting the orginal 32Mb stick back in but it still shows 16Mb. Any ideas please? |

Hi there... my guess would be that that the RAM hasn't been pushed hard enough into its socket. Sometimes, you have to fair lean on it.

Better still put a support under the mother board so that the board doesn't bend as you are 'leaning on it'. I use a plastic comb of the right width. |
