| 29574 | 2002-01-02 09:30:00 | Hi, I was just wondering can the figure 194mb of ram cause computer to crash or stuff up some windows files. Cause when ever I run my computer with 194mb of ram, it some how cause problems eg: disappear my desktop icons and other applcation icons or freeze up. It doesn't always happen, when I run my computer with 128mb of ram it runs fine and with out any problems. So can any one tell me can the figure of 194mb of ram cause computer to crash or stuff up, if not any ideas on why my desktop icons disappears but not the name. I running win98se and I've tried renaming a file called [ShellIconCache] to [shellIconCache.bak] in the window folder but that doesn't seem to work too. So any suggestions. Thanks alot |
