I have installed a free firewall from Zonelabs. Do I now go into Internet Options/ Advanced/ and click 'Use passiveFTP(for firewall & D.S.L modem capability), or do I leave it unchecked? Thanks for the help. |

providing ftp was working fine before you insalled ZAF then leave it unticked. |

If you get an endless loop of not opening an ftp site properly, then checking 'Enable folder view for FTP sites' box cures that problem, otherwise as tweak'e says leave the Use Passive FTP box unchecked. |
