| 29437 | 2002-01-01 09:09:00 | Would someone please be able to tell me the difference between a Desktop computer and a Workstation. We are looking around at buying a new computer to run Autocad. Many thanks |

Desktop frequently refers to the shape of the case, and workstation refers to the role of the computer (eg server/workstation). 'Workstation' usually implies a high spec computer. It will be well worth buying a larger monitor with a high refresh rate for a computer in that role, so don't skimp on that component. |
