29508 2002-01-02 03:46:00 I downloaded ACDSee image handling software on trial, did not like it, and uninstalled. The uninstall was successful and all files have gone, however, ACDSee has taken over my system, Windows 98, and when I try to download pics from a floppy the system asks for ACDSee. I want to return to the previous default system which appeared to be part of windows and used the standard Internet Explorer screen to view images. I even tried uninstalling Windows and reinstalling to no avail. Any suggestions gratefully received. Guest (0)
29509 2002-01-02 04:40:00 Right click on an image file you want to open and select 'open with' a list of available programs should appear, select the viewer you want and you should be asked if you want this program to be the default viewer say yes and all your other images should open in the viewer you selected.
If you have trouble, post back.

29510 2002-01-02 08:13:00 Also download regcleaner from www.jv16.org - goto Tools - registry cleanup - do them all. This will get rid of left over bits of ACDC. Bye Guest (0)
