| 29457 | 2002-01-01 10:40:00 | Mike, I noticed from a earlier message regarding firewalls you are using Tiny. You still using it? Any problems sending emails. Specifically when you click Send in OE, does it sit there 'connecting' even when it is already on line, on average for about 30 seconds, sometimes upto 60 sec or longer before starting to send. I had this problem under 98se and ME, both dial up and j/start. Tried 2 versions, same problem. Just wondering if it was something staring me in the face that I could not see for the keyboard. I allowed always for OE to connect out, the latest version never asked me to allow incoming on the mail port. Before leaving chch I put in ZA in its place. Wonder if the isp or one of there settings had something to do with it. Cheers |

| 29458 | 2002-01-03 03:24:00 | I have no problems with Tiny at all. I admit I don't use OE, but Outlook 2000, but that shouldn't make any difference. Perhaps if you went into Advanced Settings and deleted all the settings for OE then set them all over again when you next try to get your mail - perhaps you accidentally clicked Deny or something... worth a try |
