| 29439 | 2002-01-01 10:29:00 | This may be an easy question. How is the cpu in a laptop kept cool? They are in such a small case, how could a heatsink and fan be managed to squeeze in to their. It's not like you could have 120mm case fans on the front and back. JM |

| 29441 | 2002-01-01 11:26:00 | basicly the whole pc..or at least most of the case is one big heatsink. usually use a heatpipe to distribute the heat through out the heatsink. can also have a small thermal controlled fan to blow throw the sink when it gets to hot. also it can slow the cpu down to help keep it cool. you just have to love the technology in laptops :-) and no sy thats not going to be your next overclocking project....lol |
