| 29620 | 2002-01-03 05:09:00 | Media player doesn't convert files (as far as I could find anyway) but there is a MS program available, I think from www.microsoft.com that has converters etc. I think its called Media encoder or something, but there's a list of downloads from that page that might be of some use to you. | Guest (0) | ||
| 29621 | 2002-01-03 07:35:00 | As Mike says MS Windows Media Encoder will do the job. There is a recording option 'Template with I/O Options' which allows you to choose AVI, WAV or MP3 as the file source, or a live source. As with many of these encoders it takes some experimentation to get the recording level and bit rates right for reasonable quality sound. Have a search through the MS site for it. I dont have the URL to hand. |
