Use a Saitek joystick for flightsim stuff - has worked well for 18 months but suddenly failed. On checking the game settings found they had all gone. Tried to re-install through game controller (win98) but am getting a response 'not connected.' Have tried the stick on another system and it works OK. Have checked the Game Card fittings and all appears secure. It is a 'plug and play' type and I have been using the game port, it also can be used through the USB port but am getting the same response - i.e. not connected. Is there some way I can check the software for 'plug and play' ? |

Try removing it, then reinstalling it. |

Had to remove it to try on another system. Have had several attempts to re-install without success.
As its 'plug and play' there aren't any drivers to uninstall and start again. |
