| 29912 | 2002-01-05 10:52:00 | Hey guys, Somehow I got this little boxey thing on the bottom of my IE Browser, I got a screen shot here : www.geocities.com/angiejoliezz/screenshot.JPG I can close it, but it re-opens even if I just open My Computer etc... any ideas would be loved. I scrawled thru the IE Options, but no luck, mind you I dont kno what to look 4 :P~~ |

| 29913 | 2002-01-05 12:48:00 | by boxy thing I take it you mean the multicoloured square?? If so it appears to be a program icon that you have running in the background and will stay there untill it is uninstalled. You can either uninstall it by using the uninstall that comes with some programs or you can use the add/remove programs found in your control panel....start/settings If you have no idea which program it is then hold you mouse pointer over it for a few seconds and hopefully a little id box will appear and tell you what it is. If none of this helps then a bit more info is needed as to which boxy thing it is and what programs you have added lately. |

| 29917 | 2002-01-05 23:23:00 | Well first of all, it's in the system tray not the bottom of IE. It will be because of some program that you installed (or may have been piggy-backed on some other program). What happens when you right click on it, it may have a option to open. Also try CTRL+ALT+DEL and see what programs are running that wouldn't normally be running. JM |
