29784 2002-01-04 10:32:00 I am running WIN98SE IE6.

At work we have a network running WIN95 and IE5.

At work I can access the following site but at home, the site just sits and does not connect.

Site is:-

http//www.izzycooper.com/pop.htm#

Can anyone explain to me why this is so?

I believe that my security is low enough to access and I also allow Cookies.

Could someone see if they can access the site or explain why I can't.

Regards, Bryan.

29785 2002-01-04 10:42:00 Hiya

That URL didn't work for me either.

Try http://www.izzycooper.com/

and go to where ever in the site you want from there. If you still get the page not found error - try clearing your temporary internet files and cookies.

- check out Google.com for other fan sites:

29786 2002-01-04 11:14:00 I could access the page you quoted only by going through the sites flash entrance at http//www.izzycooper.com/ maybe it has something to do with trying to bypass the flash intro?

Man, she's a babe isn't she!

Sorry ladies I know that wasn't PC.

29787 2002-01-04 11:23:00 Quick answer for the night.

The URL will work if you take the # off the end. The # denotes a anchor point within a page which you have not specified so then it cannot load the specific request.

29790 2002-01-04 20:50:00 Thanks guys. However for me, no luck with all the suggestions. I can reaise the introductory site such as at www.izzy-sings.com but then the site tries to reopen a new site www.izzycooper.com/pop.htm# .
The new page tells me that the site should be in a new browser and indicates in the address bar the # site. Nothing opens.

Is this something to do with Flash. I believe that I have Flash5 loaded but guidebce on checking would be appreciated.

Bryan.

PS. Some of you guys work late!

29792 2002-01-05 03:30:00 The page may be cached by a proxy server at Bryan's workplace.

If it is dynamically updated at its home site, there could be a problem with accessing it without going through an upper level. The indexes will change, and the result would be 'undefined'.

29793 2002-01-05 09:33:00 Hi again Bryan.
Have u got a pop-up killer program working?
When I got redirected from izzy-sings.com this morning, my pop-up killer wouldnt allow it to unless I held down my Ctrl key.
I have just tried it again now and it still works OK.
